Gregory J. Kent, M.D., has been practicing in the Treasure Valley since 1991. He received his undergraduate degree from
Pennsylvania State University in 1982, and then went on to earn his doctorate from Temple University Medical School. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Kent accepted an internship with Allentown Affiliated Hospitals in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Following this internship, he completed his ophthalmology training in 1990 at St. Vincent’s Regional Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Kent has developed a well-established and broad-based practice serving a patient base from Mountain Home to Ontario, with two conveniently located offices. He has earned the reputation of a talented and compassionate surgeon, specializing in refractive and cataract surgery. His caring and knowledgeable staff adds another level of patient confidence that is becoming almost impossible to find in today’s changing world of medicine.
After enjoying the success of his own refractive procedure, Dr. Kent began his refractive program in 1999. Since then, he has completed over 4000 procedures, and has become one of Idaho’s leading and busiest refractive surgeons. Dr. Kent’s technical skills and attention to detail, play a key role in his patients’ refractive surgery success. As a refractive patient himself, Dr. Kent has an intimate patient perspective and communicates accordingly, which makes his practice stand out above the rest.
Dr. Kent is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Idaho Medical Association, the Idaho Ophthalmology Society, as well as the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Aside from his medical profession, he has a love for the outdoors with interests in fly-fishing, hunting, and golfing. His greatest joy however, is reserved for his wife Kimberly and their four children: Danielle, Alexander, Olivia, and Harrison.
Dr. Drew Dayton is a fifth generation native Idahoan and a 1979 graduate of Capital High School. Dr. Dayton attended Ricks College and then completed his undergraduate degree at BYU. He received his Optometric degree from Pacific University in 1990. Dr. Dayton began practicing in Twin Falls before moving back to the Treasure Valley, where he has enjoyed treating patients for the past 17 years.
As an enthusiastic member of the Eye Associates team, Dr. Dayton is instrumental in providing primary eyecare to patients, including eye exams, contact lens fitting, dry eye and glaucoma treatment, as well as cataract and LASIK evaluation.
Dr. Dayton and his wife Seleste are the proud parents of six children, three boys and three girls, and as a family, enjoy hiking, mountain biking, camping, hunting and fishing in the great Idaho outdoors.
Dr. Dayton’s ultimate satisfaction comes in the knowledge that he can help enhance his patient’s lives by maximizing their vision.
Dorian Rammell, O.D.
Dr. Rammell performs a wide range of services, from primary eye care to ocular disease diagnosis and management. Dr. Rammell received his education from Southern College of Optometry. Outside of work, Dr.Rammell enjoys sports, especially basketball and running. He and his wife Desire’e have four beautiful daughters that they are happy to be raising here in the Treasure Valley.
