Green leafy vegetables, salmon, tuna, and citrus fruits are great ways to get these essential nutrients.
Get the right sunglasses:
When selecting a pair of shades, make sure they block 99%-100% of UVA and UVB rays. Wraparound lenses are even better since they protect your eyes from all sides. Polarized lenses are great for driving because they reduce glare. Contact lenses offer a minimal amount of UV protection so be sure to wear sunglasses as well.
Add variety to your workday:
Many American adults sit in an office staring at a computer for the majority of the day. Excessive screen time contributes to headaches, eyestrain, shoulder and neck pain, dry eyes, and blurry eyes. But even without a heavy screen time job, kids and adults alike are constantly using an electronic device. Break the monotony by initiating the 20/20/20 rule. Every 20 minutes, find a spot to focus on that is 20 feet away from your phone or computer screen, and then stare at it for 20 seconds. Also, take a walking break every few hours and have a work call outside to ease your eyes.
